Peter Kohlenmunk, Vreneli, Ueli & Co. – They will all appear at the Museums Night 2017 at the Burgerbibliothek of Berne. The Bernese film director Franz Schnyder (1910–1993) paid a wonderful cinematic tribute to these literary figures from the fairy tale «The Cold Heart» by Wilhelm Hauff and from the great novels by Jeremias Gotthelf, «Ueli der Knecht» and «Ueli der Pächter». Discover the historical origins of these movies and the life and work of Franz Schnyder in an exhibition at Münstergasse 63 on 17 March 2017 as of 18:00 hrs!
